Built securely,
openly connected.
Your wealth belongs in an environment you can understand. On this page, you can see where your data is stored, who can access it and which external services Finaure uses.
AI with placeholders instead of real names
Before a SmartAssist question or a support request reaches the AI, Finaure replaces names, IBANs and other identifiers with placeholders (pseudonymisation).
- The AI only receives the content it needs for the task at hand
- For document analysis (SmartUpload), Anthropic processes the content of the document so that values and deadlines can be recognised
- Training on your data excluded by contract, processing under EU standard contractual clauses
Bank credentials never with us
You sign in to your bank in finAPI's own sign-in form, not on a Finaure page.
- Your PIN and password are seen only by you and finAPI, never Finaure
- finAPI is an account information service supervised by BaFin
More security measures
Four more building blocks that, together with AI pseudonymisation and finAPI, make sure no one sees more than they should.
Two-factor and approvals
Sign-in with an authenticator app, mandatory for all users if you wish. Payments above your threshold are only sent once approved.
Data stored in the EU
All data and documents are held in a data centre in the European Union (Germany), encrypted in storage and in transit, with daily backups.
Isolated per account
Every table is secured on the server side: only authorised users of your account can access your data. Keys for external services never leave the server.
Roles down to each asset
Everyone sees only what they are meant to see. Advisers, too, see only what you give them access to, and security-relevant actions are recorded in the audit log.
Integrations
The most important integrations, each with clearly limited access. No service receives more than it needs for its task. All recipients are listed in the platform privacy policy.
- finAPI
Account information and payment initiation service supervised by BaFin. Connects banks in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, and transactions arrive automatically. You also initiate payments through it.
Active3 accounts updated, just now - Claude by Anthropic
Reads invoices, contracts and bank statements in SmartUpload and answers questions in SmartAssist. Safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses, with no storage and no training.
ActiveRecognised: lease - Market data
Current prices for shares, ETFs and precious metals as well as exchange rates. Only symbols are transmitted, no personal data.
ActiveMSCI World 3,412.80 +0.4% - File import
Upload statements for bank accounts without a direct connection, securities account statements and exports from other software as files. Finaure imports every line, with duplicate protection; for spreadsheets, the AI recognises the format from a sample.
Active145 lines imported, 3 duplicates skipped
Security & data protection
In a data centre in the European Union (Frankfurt region). Every table is secured on the server so that only authorised users of your tenant have access. Security-relevant events are recorded in the audit log.
With two-factor sign-in via an authenticator app. You can make it mandatory for all users of your tenant. Payments and admin actions require an additional confirmation. You can end open sessions yourself.
Finaure is software and does not provide financial services, so no BaFin licence is required. Our banking partner finAPI is supervised; only finAPI holds your bank login details.
Only to the extent required for support, and never without you knowing: every support access is logged and shown to you as the owner in the platform. Support has no access to money movements or bank connections.
No. Finaure does not sell or broker financial products and does not make investment recommendations. Our revenue comes solely from the software licence.
