Everything important about Finaure: from the bank connection and the AI to security, pricing and working with your advisers. Can't find your question? Please get in touch.
Product & getting started
Finaure is software for managing family wealth. It maps your entire structure: people, holding companies, limited companies, property companies, foundations and private wealth. Within it, Finaure handles the day-to-day work. Bank accounts are synced, receipts captured and rents reconciled. You approve payments and hand documents over to your adviser.
For families and entrepreneurs whose wealth is not held in a single account but spread across several companies, properties, securities accounts and investments. Finaure is used by the family and the people around it, such as assistants, managers or advisers. Each person sees only what they are meant to see.
An overview shows what you own. Finaure also manages it: receipts are captured and handed over, payments approved, expected rents and capital calls reconciled against incoming payments, deadlines monitored. The work that would otherwise remain in Excel and paper files is done in Finaure.
Finaure provides the tools of a family office as software that you operate yourself: consolidated overview, payment approvals, management reporting, reports and emergency provisions. You do not need your own staff or an implementation project. Finaure does not provide advice; your advisers remain responsible for that.
Usually a few hours. With SmartOnboard you upload up to 50 files at once, for example bank statements, contracts or your existing Excel list. The AI suggests entities, assets and accounts from them; you review and accept. SmartGuide guides you through the first steps.
All the usual ones: real estate, securities accounts, business interests and funds, bank balances, precious metals, crypto assets, vehicles, yachts, art and collections, insurance policies as well as loans granted and taken out. Every asset has a value history with its source.
Pricing & trial
From €59 per month incl. VAT. The price depends solely on your gross assets, in four tiers from S (up to €5m) to XL (up to €150m). With annual billing, you pay for 10 months instead of 12. For more than €150m, Individual is available on request.
You try Finaure free for 14 days with the full feature set, in every tier. You choose your tier and billing interval when you register. If you do not cancel within the 14 days, your subscription begins on day 15. You can cancel at any time using the “Cancel contract” button in the platform.
The total value of all assets you record in Finaure, without deducting liabilities. Loans and land charges therefore do not reduce your gross assets.
No. Every tier includes all features and unlimited users, accounts and entities. The only extra you can book is an AI add-on, in case the credit is not sufficient. The difference lies in gross assets, which also determine the size of the monthly AI credit; XL additionally includes a personal onboarding session.
Every tier includes a monthly AI credit for SmartUpload, SmartAssist, SmartGuide and SmartOnboard: around 150 receipts or requests in S, 300 in M, 600 in L and 2,000 in XL. The AI reads receipts and suggests the data; the decision remains yours. The credit applies per subscription; long documents such as bank statements or annual accounts consume more.
In that case, only the AI features pause until the 1st of the month. Automatic account sync, SmartFinance, SmartWealth and reports continue to run as normal, and you can enter receipts manually in the meantime. If you do not want to wait, you can book an AI add-on for €10 incl. VAT. The tier itself depends only on gross assets.
Yes. On the 1st of the month you receive the full credit again, even if your subscription began mid-month. Unused credit does not carry over to the next month.
In the first 4 weeks after registration – that is, during the 14-day trial and the first 14 days of your subscription – AI usage does not count (Fair Use). During this time you set up Finaure, for example with SmartOnboard, which is when the AI does the most work.
If your gross assets exceed the upper limit of your tier by more than 10%, Finaure notifies you and suggests a change of tier. The higher price only applies once you have confirmed it. Until then, you cannot add new assets; all existing data and functions remain available. If your gross assets fall back below 90% of the upper limit, the notice disappears.
With a click in the platform or in text form (e.g. by email), at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, i.e. the end of your current subscription month or subscription year. If an annual subscription has already been renewed, consumers can cancel at any time with one month’s notice and receive a pro rata refund of any amounts already paid for the period after the contract ends. After the contract ends, you have 90 days to download all documents and receipts as an export package; the data is then deleted.
Banks & accounts
Via finAPI, an account information service supervised by BaFin. You log in to your bank in the finAPI form, including two-factor confirmation. Your login details are held only by finAPI and your bank, never by Finaure. Accounts and transactions are then updated automatically.
Via finAPI, the banks in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Accounts without an interface are kept as passive accounts: you upload the bank statement as a PDF or CSV, and Finaure imports every transaction line, with duplicate protection.
Yes. Finaure suggests categories and learns from your corrections. You can turn a single transaction into a rule, with a preview and, if you wish, retroactively for all previous transactions. A transaction can also be split across several assets.
Finaure knows your expected payments from leases, capital calls and open invoices and reconciles them with incoming payments. If a payment does not arrive, you see it in the property and in the overview, without having to do the maths yourself.
Yes. You collect reviewed receipts in the payment run and initiate the payment via finAPI. You confirm the approval with your bank as usual. If you wish, a payment approval rule applies: receipts above an amount you set are only paid by someone authorised to approve them.
Receipts & handover
Upload or photograph the invoice, as a PDF, JPG or PNG. SmartUpload recognises the sender, amounts, line items and tax rates, creates the supplier as a contact and suggests the allocation to a company and property. You review and confirm. E-invoices and outgoing invoices are captured too.
No. Finaure manages wealth and does not post entries. Your receipts are collected, organised and handed over complete to your adviser, just without the shoebox.
Via the handover assistant in three steps: choose the period (the previous month is preselected), review the handover folder, choose the target format. Finaure creates a ZIP file with the receipt data and the original receipts, in formats customary in each country, such as DATEV, BMD, RZL, FEC or CSV.
Yes. Every handover is kept as a named folder in the history and can be downloaded again. You can cancel the most recent folder; the receipts can then be handed over again, while the folder and log remain on record.
No. Finaure does not calculate taxes and does not give advice. Your adviser receives complete, organised documents in the right format and, if you wish, can work directly with you through their own restricted access.
Real estate & investments
Every property has its own cockpit with units, leases, income, loans, receipts and documents. You see expected and actual rent for each month and tenant, vacancies and changes of tenant, service charges and the property’s yield.
Yes. SmartUpload reads the lease and suggests the tenant, unit and lease with base rent, service charges and deposit. Once you confirm, Finaure expects the rent and reconciles it with incoming payments.
Finaure allocates recoverable costs to the categories of the German Operating Costs Ordinance as soon as receipts are captured. At the end of the year, the costs for each property are available in one place. The feature is not available in all countries.
You record shareholding ratios between entities and co-ownership of individual assets. Finaure calculates the shares across all levels: if a person holds 60% of a holding company that holds 50% of a limited company, the company counts at 30% for that person. You see the structure as an organisation chart, also as a PDF.
For funds and private equity investments, you record commitments, calls, distributions and deadlines. SmartUpload reads a capital call letter; Finaure matches the subsequent transfer to the call. SmartPortfolio shows which calls are still to be expected.
You import positions via the bank connection, from a securities statement or manually. Prices for shares, ETFs and precious metals as well as exchange rates are updated daily. You see the cost basis, gains and losses and the breakdown by asset class, region and currency.
AI & planning
It reads documents and prepares data from them: invoices, leases, bank statements, securities statements, capital calls, fund reports or annual financial statements. In addition, SmartAssist answers questions about your own data, and SmartGuide helps with the set-up.
No. The AI makes suggestions, you decide. If it recognises new details about an existing record, such as a changed IBAN on an invoice, it creates a change suggestion with a visible source. It does not overwrite values entered by hand.
Only what is needed for the task at hand. You use SmartAssist only after giving your consent. In SmartAssist and in support, Finaure first replaces names, IBANs and other identifiers with placeholders (pseudonymisation). For document analysis (SmartUpload), the AI provider Anthropic processes the content of the document itself. Training on your data is excluded by contract; processing takes place under EU standard contractual clauses.
Ongoing financial management: from transactions, contracts and fixed items, Finaure determines what a month costs and brings in, shows budget vs actual for each category and a liquidity forecast for up to twelve months. This works for the whole structure, a part of it or a single company.
Long-term planning: how long will your wealth last in retirement, and what would a sale or a reallocation mean? You calculate conservative, expected and optimistic scenarios and compare them. SmartWealth is a model calculation based on your data, not investment advice.
Security & data protection
In a data centre in the European Union (Frankfurt region). Every table is secured on the server so that only authorised users of your tenant have access. Security-relevant events are recorded in the audit log.
With two-factor sign-in via an authenticator app. You can make it mandatory for all users of your tenant. Payments and admin actions require an additional confirmation. You can end open sessions yourself.
Finaure is software and does not provide financial services, so no BaFin licence is required. Our banking partner finAPI is supervised; only finAPI holds your bank login details.
Only to the extent required for support, and never without you knowing: every support access is logged and shown to you as the owner in the platform. Support has no access to money movements or bank connections.
No. Finaure does not sell or broker financial products and does not make investment recommendations. Our revenue comes solely from the software licence.
Family, team & emergency provisions
Owner, admin, manager, assistant, member and adviser. In addition, you set for each user which companies and assets they see, down to the individual property. Your assistant then sees only the rental properties, for example, and your adviser has read-only access.
Yes. You send a task by email link to your adviser, lawyer or property manager. The recipient completes it, comments and uploads files, without an account and without seeing the rest of your data.
For each person, you keep an emergency folder with powers of attorney, advance directives, insurance policies and important contacts, linked to the actual accounts and assets. For emergencies, there is a simplified emergency view with the documents and contacts on file, plus the folder as a PDF to print.
You record family relationships and gifts. For each relationship, the tax-free allowance calculator shows which allowances have been used in the last ten years and what remains available. It applies to Germany and does not replace tax advice, but it is a good basis for discussion.
Yes. Under one login you manage several completely separate tenants, for example your own family, a community of heirs and a foundation, each with its own users and permissions.
In six languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Croatian. Accounts and securities accounts can be kept in any currency; Finaure converts automatically into your reporting currency.
